Domestic Goddess No More
I have absolutely no idea what we are eating for Shabbos and no time to go shopping either. Seth is at a seminar tonight, so no shopping for me. Maybe I can find time at lunchtime tomorrow. Here's hoping.

I disagree. Domestic goddess still, except that at least three more of those arms are full.

It's clean-out-the-freezer Shabbat here. We're having ravioli tomorrow night. :-) (Invited out for lunch.)

I think you're in good company what with erev Pesach and all!

I'm using gefilte fish from a jar, chicken soup from last week, chicken schnitzel (probably the only thing fresh and chometzdik besides for the challah) and a chocolate roll that's pesachdik. Motzaei Shabbos it's hello space age kitchen!

I was thinking of you because DH was in your neck of the woods. He even had lunch at the nut house.

yeah but my excuse was pure lack of preparedness! We did end up with a decent meal... baked gelifte fish, store bought chicken soup, teriyaki chicken, roasted asparagus, and mashed poatatoes. Lunch was deli and salads, so not too bad for little preparation.

We're space-aging it today. Ugh.

How did the interview go? I've never eaten at nut house!

Sounds yummy.

I'm still not yet at the space age state. I'm glad I started today because I forgot how long this takes!

oh and DH loves nut house. We found out in 3 weeks about the interview. I'm trying to forget about it in the meantime. I keep on finding myself doing google searches on Maryland anyway. The one state I kept on forgetting how to pronounce in elementary school. I knew it wasn't Mary-land but what was it? This drove me nuts until I remembered.

I've got no clue either! Wanna have no clue together? I have frozen cow pieces.

Sure! I did manage to make three chicken breasts and gefilte fish. I can probably rustle up salad and potatoes. Call my cell phone later today and we'll work it out.

Salad rustler! I can just picture you herding previously free-range salad through a conveniently-made gap in the fence ;-)

I hope your meals turn out just fine.

Meals turned out great, surprisingly. It all works out in the end, right?

This is Jo logged in under Cary--if you need me to go to the store for you tomorrow, call me in the morning on my cell around 9:00--I'll be taking Nathan to ECC. Or call me at home later. Or, you know, whenever. Just not now. I'm going to bed. Blah.
