I need a really good broccoli soup recipe. Or broccoli/cheddar. Or both.
Anyone got a good recipe that they've used? Yes, I can just do a web search for a recipe, but I'm wondering if anyone has a recipe they've actually tested.
I did a websearch for "broccoli soup recipe Moosewood" and found this. The Moosewood Cookbook's recipe is the only one I've ever used, and I love it. Major major comfort food.
A really great place here on LJ to ask and read about food is on the food_porn community. (no actual porn involved). There are many kosher keepers in there so you can request recipes sans pork.
Thanks, I did ask in food porn. My experience with food porn doesn't seem the same as yours though.... I find I have to alter just about every recipe that's posted, unless it's a decidedly vegetarian recipe. There are a whole lot of meat & dairy (together) recipes posted.
