LJ is a very strange place. I say more about my inner-thoughts on LJ than I do to most people in-person. Which, by the way, is ridiculous, but somehow I keep doing it anyway. But there are a fair number of you I've never met. So I feel all geeky and weird about the fact that I have these people in my life who on most levels I would consider close friends, but they're "just" online-friends.

And then sometimes, one of those friends disappears without a trace. It makes me sad and worries me. And I feel like I've been punched in the gut. And this is still ridiciulous, because seriously... I've never met half of you (though many of you I have some real-life connection to, such as knowing your spouse in RL).

But I think about you guys, and I care about you guys, and I don't care if it makes me a complete and utter freak. So if you've disappeared recently and you're reading this anyway... please know that I'm sad that you're gone. I'm a better person for having "met" you. :(
