	Julian Update
	Monday I was supposed to go to Jon's after work, but that got scrapped because I didn't get out of work early enough. By the time I got home, Jack was getting ready for bed. So I headed home before dashing off to mikveh duty. I came home and found Julian and Seth giggling boisterously in the yard, but I couldn't see why until I turned the corner. It had been so hot, that after some of the heat of the day burned off, Seth took Julian outside in his little swim trunks and gave him the hose with the sprayer. Julian had a great time spraying water everywhere and it did not, apparently, take him long to discover that if he pointed the spray at Abba, Abba ran away. Apparently, however, he also found out that if he directed the spray at himself, he got wet. Which scared him, so he dropped the hose and ran away. That is, until he remembered that he LIKES water. Below there's a picture of Julian spraying ME as I was trying to take his picture. Such a cutie, no? Of course, I then had to go to Toys 'R Us and buy him an inflatable pool, sprinkler and a giant beach ball. Hooray! We haven't inflated the pool yet, but he loves the sprinkler and the beach ball. You have to get him "Swimmies" - the diapers that don't get all bloated in the pool! (I see regular white diapers sticking out of his bathing suit - the swimmies are colored)

My kids spent all afternoon Sunday in the baby pool on the deck - my 19 month old was scared to go in the water. She liked her bathing suit though, she kept pointing at it and saying "preeetty" - Such a girl!!!

yeah, we have swimming diapers. Remember that I wasn't home when all this took place so my husband was in charge. Heh. It wasn't the end of the world, one wasted diaper was well worth all the fun Julian had.

Julian LOVES LOVES LOVES water. He "swims" in the bath... he gets down and blows bubbles and kicks his feet. It's pretty funny.

Men. Heh.

She loves the bath - I think she just got nervous since the water was so cold. Next time I need to fill it up earlier and give the water a chance to get a little warmer before I out her in.

You are definitely frog-obsessed! :)

The frog thing you were seeing is the lid of a trash can. I have a frog-shaped trash can that I keep some of Julian's mega-blocks in.

yeah. I am chicken. I see nothing wrong with a plastic crab either, you know. I just am a big chicken. Anyway, I have to drag my ass down there to get the blasted thing, but first I have to figure out whether it will fit in my car. Hah!
