I'm sauteeing leeks and mushrooms for tomorrow's (tonight's?) dinner. The leeks are turning purple. They didn't start out purple. They've never done this before.
Any idea if this is normal?
It appears that my fleishig dishwasher is posessed. I realized it had been running for a REALLY long time.
It appears to have bypassed that whole "OFF" part of the cycle and started over. Or maybe it's just been stuck in the same place the entire time. Which is really weird. Because the detergent thingy did open. And all the stuff is clean. But I have to keep running it because the bottom is filled with water (having not drained at all, duh.. that should have clued me in). Maybe life was actually better before I had this nifty gadget. Weird.
