heh heh.

That's actually *just* prior to the evil haircut. You can see why we were so desperate to get it cut; I just wish it hadn't been so ridiculously bad!

stories for your amusement

1. This morning my son informed me that, when he is a man, he will stay up all night to watch a Star Wars movie with Dark Vader.

2. Last night I had a horrifying dream (if you want to do some interpretation, hey, go ahead). A woman who I knew in real life (now deceased) was over a year deceased in my dream. I went to the house where she lived -- where her husband and new wife were now living. There on the floor (on a mat I guess) was her severed head. It was on the road to emaciation and/or dehydration and had therefore shrunk a little, had loose skin, and looked vaguely like an old football. The eyelids rose sleepily and the eyes lolled around in a stupor. The husband and new wife were aware that her head was alive, and were trying to include her/it in the family after the embarassing mistake of leaving her/it in the coffin for a year. They didn't bring up this subject. They were trying to act like it was natural to have an additional family member consisting of a severed head. They told me that they believed she could hear and understand, and that she could see. The eyes rolled and lolled, as though trying to swivel the weight of the head over to look at me. They did accomplish some movement, but not enough. I was finding some polite way of getting the heck outta there. I did NOT want that undead head looking at me or considering me. I didn't particularly sense any negative intention; it was just so horrifying and creepy.
