trope and pizza
So my Hebrew, I think is getting worse. But kosher pizza made me feel better about it.
And well, trope is fun anyway.
And hopefully this will be less painful as time goes by.

And the pizza was YUMMY!!

So I suppose that's all that matters.

I'm sleepy!!

Your Hebrew can't be getting worse with the amount of attention it's getting. I suspect you're just realizing how much you don't know, where previously you were blsisfully unaware, so it *seems* like there's more that you don't know than there was.

Did that help, or hurt? :-)

I'm not sure if that helped or hurt! And actually, it is getting better. The thing is that after about twenty minutes, it just gets painful. I cease having the patience to force myself through it. So I have to get away from it. And I was in a ROTTEN mood when I came home last night. I'd gotten up at 5:30, worked 10 hours, come home in the dark, gotten home tired and hungry, realized I still hadn't done my homework for the haftorah class I have tonight and I really really didn't want to do anything but sleep. SO Seth helped me stumble through the Hebrew while we figured out what to do about dinner. And then while we were driving to Sienna's (yummy kosher pizza in Rockville, MD), I practiced singing the trope along with my lousy Hebrew. It really wasn't as bad as all that. It just gets worse the more frustrated and tired I get. I really don't stumble that much at first...and then, well, all heck breaks loose! I'm really so much better than I was 6 months ago, but gosh it's hard to realize that when I'm stumbling over three syllables!

Your hebrew is improving. Granted, you're not exactly charting it, so you'll have to take my word for it, but it is improving. You're welcome to throw a tantrum if you think that will help, but there is good stuff happening. 8^) *hug*

If it makes you feel better (and doesn't harm anyone else) then why not do it?

um, because you might change your mind about that whole marriage thing?
