Lots going on
I'm planning to update, but first I'm wondering if 11:35 is too early to be contemplating lunch...

11:30 is a good time to have lunch. If you go out to eat, you often can avoid the beginning of the lunch rush. You can also have long lunches if you want, and still resume work at a normal time.

Nonsense. It's NEVER too early for lunch....

Or breakfast. Or dinner. Or dessert....

It is never too early to contemplate lunch, though there may be times that are too early to plate lunch :-).

That depends upon a number of things... How early you got up, whether or not you had breakfast, whether or not you're eating with others and have to consider their schedules, etc.

I ended up eating at 11:45. But just for the fun of it, I'll address your criteria:

I slept through my alarm and woke up an hour late at 6:30. I hadn't had dinner the night before, though I'd had a snack early in the evening.

I had half a cheese danish for breakfast at 6:50ish.

I eat at my desk while I'm working, so it affects no one else.

Then you can pretty much eat whenever you'd like. I usually eat at my desk (when I eat here at all) too.

When I have lunch (which isn't often) I usually have it around 11 -- because I get in early, because I rarely eat lunch if I've already had breakfast, and because that means I get back before most of the other people in the office leave (assuming I have to go out to get said lunch). They hate it when we all leave at the same time.
