Where I've lived
A lot of people are doing that "Cities I've Lived In" thing (so I'm not attributing this to anyone). I'm not certain I can remember all the places, but here goes. Honestly, I'm not sure how many there are:

Fenwick, Scotland
Ft. Meade, MD
Puerto de Santa Maria, Spain
Rota, Spain
Gales Ferry, CT
Bowie, MD
Stony Brook, NY
Salem, MA
Silver Spring, MD
Laurel, MD
Landover, MD
Richmond, VA
Silver Spring, MD (two most recent residences)

Wow. That's not so many.

Current Mood: surprised surprised

I'd do this, but the results would be boring:

Los Angeles, CA [Westchester, 90045; Playa Del Rey, 90291; Los Angeles, 90049; North Hills, 91343]

Yeah, that is pretty boring. :)

I envy you in a way.

Wow. That's not so many.

More than me. My first 24 years were in the same city.

Military family? Your last five are all one metropolitan area, whereas we in NYC have lots of neighborhoods in one large incorporated municipality.

I've lived in New York City for all but 4 years in college (Princeton, NJ). Manhattan until 25, Brooklyn since (Park Slope, Flatbush).

My mom has only lived in New York City. Dad has mostly, less 7 years in Chicago and 3 years in the USAAF, during which he was stationed in St Petersburg, FL; Albuquerque, NM; Gulfport, MI; and Tonopah, NV. A lotta hot climes for a Northern boy.

My mother's parents both lived only in NYC; my father's parents came here from Russia in 1914, having lived in Berdichev and Proskurov, Ukraine.

My brother has lived a bunch of places, while looking for tenure-track jobs as a bio professor. NYC through high school, Ithaca NY for college, a year in Chicago for art school, Davis, CA for grad school, a year and three winters in Sde Boker, Israel, three years (two and one) in Amherst, MA, two years (between the stints at Amherst) in Lancaster, PA, and now he's back in NYC, teaching at Queens College.

Hmm, the place I spent most of my childhood wasn't a city. I guess I'd have to leave a big blank space in my list.

You've lived in more cities than I have -- 2 more, to be precise.
