um... stuff.

starting to feel better. My knee feels like hell, and I managed to slip in the grocery store tonight and fall on all the already-existing bruises. OUCH. But that's okay. I'm way more mobile than I was yesterday or the day before. Go me.

Went to work for about 6 hours today (and actually got a lot accomplished!). That's an improvement. Tomorrow will likely be the same. Then I've got a long weekend to recover. Definitely looking forward to that.

I got some more unpacking done in the kitchen. Yay. Yes, we've been here five months and we're not completely unpacked yet. We're working on it. The kitchen doesn't have a lot of useful space, so it's been very difficult to do the unpacking in there. have_inner_lady helped me when I first moved in, but pretty much anything that she and I didn't accomplish that day hasn't been finished. UNTIL NOW! Now I just have one (two?) more boxes to unpack! Yay for me! Yay for slighly less disgusting kitchens! Yay for the $40K remodeling job I'm drooling over but can't have! Yay in general, just for the heck of it!

Oh, and I sliced my finger today while slicing bread. Brilliant. Sometimes I'm an absolute idiot. Thankfully, my finger is still attached. Bleh.

Julian has been incredibly cute as of late. I'm very excited about this. He's been very active and generally in a very good mood. What more can I ask for? Oh, right, a clean house. Well, to that end, I also cleaned the living room tonight. It'll be a wreck in five minutes tomorrow morning, but at least it won't be mess compounded on mess. :) Slowly but surely we are building a routine not only for Julian but for ourselves. We've managed to keep a pretty good handle on the house and our own lives while incorporating Julian into our lives, and I'm pretty proud of us for all that.

Seth has been wonderful to me considering what a useless lump I've been. I'm trying to still be productive, but man, I hurt a lot! So, slowly but surely, I'm adding things back into my routine. Maybe a little too surely, but that's okay.
