spider - Karen's Musings
Random Rambling
This morning I couldn't leave the house by way of my normal route (the front door). There was a monster keeping me from passing. I've noticed him (her?) before, but usually after it's too late and then I forget about him until the next time. This time I saw him before it was too late and I was paralized. He's a very large spider with a very intricate beautiful web. I'll admit, he was pretty exotic looking himself. But I'm not interested in having exotic spiders blocking my path out my front door. Maybe exotic means he bites!

Seth had SO better get rid of him before I get home.

Current Mood: scared scared

I'm such a weiner when it comes to bugs... I mean-- really. It's ridiculous. don't feel bad; I know how you feel! What if a roach were to grab onto my leg and eat right through it!

I'm curious to know what kind it is (or, presumably now, was). It sounds interesting. I don't know much about US spiders in general. I think I would be lucky to name 4 species.

it was a pretty interesting spider. But definitely a scary monster out to get me. ;)

Seth got rid of him, but he came back later that night. Seth moved him again this morning and he doesn't seem to have returned.

anyway, he (I don't know why I call him a he) was sort of orange-ish/red and a little bit speckled. I tried taking a photo of him, but I have an insufficient camera for spider-picture taking. It wouldn't focus on something that small. I'm not saying he wasn't fascinating. He just had no business blocking my route to/from my front door.
