today
Today was a lovely day.

More later. But for now, I need to be in bed in 8 minutes.

thank you for having us over! It was good to see you in person after all this time, and you live pretty dang close now!

:-)

It was fabulous to see you both. Thanks so much for coming out. I'm pretty sure that the last time I saw you was at Steve's wedding, so yes, it's been a long time!

Come over any time, you are always welcome! And we'll head over and see your new digs soon, too. :)

I never said I thought it was your intent. It was my treat. That is all.

NO, Thank YOU! You're the one that drove 2 hours to come down and do work for me! ;) You left your snake, by the way. Shall I mail it back to you, or shall I try to find a day in the next few weeks that I can head out to see you?

Ahem. The drain snake.

I hope so, too! And I hope someday someone tells me it!

No, really. The snake. Karen, please don't mail it back to me because: (1) postage might be more than the thing originally cost; (2) the odor of it might make the post office employees scorn us and cram their lunch leftovers in our PO box; and (3) nothing else could possibly go wrong with my current house, so I resolve that I won't need it.

Throw it away, keep it, bring it when you come to visit, hang it on your wall and write next to it "Mungo wuz heer," give it to your husband as a homecoming-from-Aruba gift, epoxy arms to it and call it Molly... the possibilities are endless. Have fun.

okey dokey, if I head out there anytime soon, I'll bring it by. I never realized there were so many uses for a used drain snake. Thanks for the education. ;)
