More Traveling
So last Sunday I went to NY on a spur-of-the-moment trip. I wrote about it, you all know about it already. A good time was had by all. Life is good.

So I decided yesterday to have a not-so-spur-of-the-moment trip to Richmond this coming Sunday. Yay for me. It's only 2-2.5 hours, so it should be nice. I'll get to see Frances, who is visiting her parents, but returning to Israel on Tuesday, so it'll be great to see her. I missed her Engagement party last week thanks to AOL's Idiocy. I couldn't email her to find out enough details because AOL rejects Comcast's Mail a lot of the time. Freaks. Anyway, I caught Frances on AIM yesterday and found out she was still in the US, so I'm going down for lunch, basically.

And after that I get to see fheyd!! And yermie too! Seth and I got to see yermie the first week of February, but I haven't seen fheyd since Labor Day. So yay for me!

After I see fheyd and yermie I may get a chance to see my "surrogate mom" from when I was living in Richmond. But that's only if I can get in touch with her, and only if there's time. I would like to not get back so late from Richmond that I can't make it to work on time Monday.

So yay for Roadtrips!

Yay!

You do remember how to get to our place, right? It's only slightly more complicated than getting to yours, but if you don't remember it, we can send you directions.

Re:

I have them written down somewhere, but I can't seem to find that book.
I'll be coming from near Regency Mall (is that Parham Road? I think so)

I know generally where to go, but specifics would be nice too. ;)

Re:

Take Parham South to the river. (? miles, ?? lights)
Parham becomes Chippenham.
Take Chippenham South to Hugenot (3 miles? 0 lights)
Take Hugenot South (turn right) to Hull St. Rd. (10? miles, 15-20 lights)
Take Hull St west (turn Right) to Bailey Bridge Rd (2-3 miles, 6-8 lights)
Take Bailey Bridge South (Turn Left) to the Claypointe subdivision (Clear ridge Rd). Turn left.
At the end of the road, turn right. (On to Spring Bluff)
At the end of the road, turn right. (On to Parrish Creek Dr.)
At the end of the road, turn right. (On to Parrish Creek Ln.)
1st driveway on the left. #5224.

Or, if you get lost, you can call.

Re:

I will never understand how you think that's not any more complicated than getting to my house. My house is Exit 31B off the Beltway, Turn right after the 2nd light, 1st right, park. It doesn't GET much simpler than that.

Anyway, I should be able to find your place without a problem. I'll give you a call when I'm on my way.

You have way the hell too much time on your handsl

Re:

No no no...

If I had too much time on my hands, I'd be expounding about how much simpler it is to get to my place than to yours because we're so cool, so therefore it's worth the time it would take to make it to our place of coolness which is almost (but not quite) the coolest part of the world, excepting a small research station at the south pole.

And, what's really scary is, I don't think that was a run on sentence.

or perhaps that should read....

What's really scary is I don't think. That was a run on sentence.

Bah. Punctuation.

I may get a chance to see my "surrogate mom" from when I was living in Richmond.

Surrogate moms are great -- I have on in San Diego. I don't get to see her often enough... =0/

I hope you get to see yours!!!!
