So beautiful! That pic of Ellie sucking her thumb is precious!

I love watching her suck her thumb! She has such delicate features and such tiny little fingers that it's just SO cute! (I never wanted a thumb sucker...it's harder to break a kid of the thumb sucking habit than to take a pacifier away...but with triplets, it's really nice that one of them can self-soothe!)

If you think that's cute, you should check out the one of Ellie sleeping... I fixed the html so it shows up now. :)

KAH, I am constantly amazed at how gorgeous they are. I can't believe it sometimes! (I fixed the html at the end, so there are two more pictures in view now)

Ellie sucking her thumb is just about the most adorable thing I have seen all day...going to look at it a third time.

Wow. How long has she been doing that? I heard it was something that babies learn later on after their 4th month.

I fixed the html at the end so the other two pictures show up now, so if you think that the thumb sucking is cute, you should check out the one of her sleeping!

She's been doing that for almost two weeks, and she's way ahead of the developmental milestone curve on that one. My pediatrician actually was a bit relieved by that...despite her weight gain issues, she's clearly developing. He said that for a full term baby, you expect the coordinated thumb-sucking ability to show up around 3-4 months, so she's about two months ahead of her adjusted schedule.

They are so beautiful! I have no idea how you manage your time, though; I say "I'm so glad Eva is just *one* baby" at least half a dozen times a day. :)
estherchaya From: estherchaya Date: January 14th, 2008 11:11 am (UTC) (Link)
I woke up every single day of my pregnancy (well, every single day after I found out it was triplets) and said, "Thank you G-d for giving me triplets and not quadruplets." Now that the triplets are here, and I'm past an extremely difficult pregnancy, I wake up every single morning and say, "Thank you G-d for giving me triplets and not quadruplets."

One's capacity for doing things for our children must just magically increase with multiples, because a singleton takes up 100% of our time, energy and love, and you don't have 300% of our time, energy or love, so somehow, we still manage to do it with the mere 100% that we have available.

She is SO adorable when she sucks her thumb (which she does often)...the picture doesn't do it justice. I fixed the html on the end, so now the picture of her sleeping (even MORE adorable) shows up (plus a bonus one of Seth with Abby and Sam)

estherchaya From: estherchaya Date: January 14th, 2008 11:14 am (UTC) (Link)
It's astounding, really. I could stare at them all day long. Well, I could if I had the time, but I'm too busy taking care of three babies!

I am so amazed you can consistently get photos with all three of them looking peaceful and contented.

They are each beautiful.
estherchaya From: estherchaya Date: January 14th, 2008 10:54 am (UTC) (Link)
The amazing part is that all three of them are pretty consistently peaceful and content, so it's not a trick on my part. I really didn't think much of it, except that virtually anyone who comes by (we don't have a LOT of visitors, but we do have SOME) comments on how calm the babies are. We definitely have times of day that they are all screaming their heads off, but more often than not, they're all pretty content (particularly if they're being held).

They are so beautiful! It's so great to see how much bigger they are now!
estherchaya From: estherchaya Date: January 14th, 2008 06:20 pm (UTC) (Link)
I know! They're huge! (Well, actually, Sam and Abby are the size of large newborns and Ellie's the size of an average newborn, but STILL! They're HUGE!)

Thanks! I think I'll keep 'em.

I'll try to get a picture of them all in their duck and frog hats! I just haven't gotten them all together in them yet. I DO have a picture of Sam in his duck hat that I'll try to remember to send you.
hipstamom From: hipstamom Date: January 14th, 2008 06:26 pm (UTC) (Link)
ZOMG! They are absolutely scrumptious!!

Re: tummy sleeping. Don't worry about that...

I used to put DS to sleep on his back and he would roll over onto his tummy. Whenever I would try to flip him back he would wake up and there was heck to pay! So I got it through my thick skull to leave right there and I would just keep a eye and ear on him. Eh...

Sam's even bigger! And the amazing part is that Abby used to be a full pound smaller than both of them!
