I do so Rock
If ever there was a doubt about how very much I totally rock... we had friends over today for Thanksgiving Dinner. And I cooked. Turkey and everything! And did I mention that I've got newborn triplets that I'm feeding?? That's a whole lotta meals I made today. I do so rock.

I should mention that I wouldn't have managed it without a lot of help from my husband who did more than his fair share of baby-wrangling today.

I can barely manage to cook for Shabbos with twins and a newborn so I have no idea how you did it with newborn triplets and a 4 year old. I'm jealous!!

Of course it's only because the triplets weren't pulling their weight in the turkey eating department... :-)

(Of course you totally rock.)

I don't pull my weight in the turkey eating department either... it gives me migraines. I only make it for Seth's sake!

...which leads to the question: will you keep the kids off any foods that trigger migraines for you until they're older? (I know, it's not even close to being a real question yet...)
estherchaya From: estherchaya Date: November 23rd, 2007 02:12 pm (UTC) (Link)
No, I won't keep them off them specifically. Food triggers in kids tend to be different than in adults for migraines. Also, everyone's food triggers are different. Also, I didn't inherit my migraines from anyone, so there's no telling whether my kids will get them from me. Hopefully they won't.

wow! you are amazing! And I can't imagine how you do it. I can barely get shabbos cooked with a 3 year old and baby!

I am beginning to suspect that you are not fully human, but perhaps half bionic.

Or some human/alien hybrid.

We mere mortals cannot compare!

I could've told you that already ;) (that you rock that is!)

Wow. Not that we didn't already know you rock, but that is a whole new level of awesomeness.

just to echo everyone I am in awe.

A year ago my thanksgiving meal was pizza (okay so I don't normally make turkey anyway)

this year it was grilled cheese!

You definitely do rock. Or mountain. Hope you are OK today. Hashem may have blessed dyou with triplets because you do so totally rock and can give these three souls the lives they deserve without falling apart. Not so easy to find a family just right for 3 at once. How's Julian doing?

Holymacaroni, that's awesome. Seriously, "awesome" as in awe-inducing. Dunno how you managed, but I'm impressed
