Why oh why am I still up? And why, oh why, am I considering making Fudgy Oatmeal Bars right now, despite the fact that I've finally finished my cooking?

Okay, off to put things in the fridge and freezer as appropriate and then SLEEP.

Note to Self: Pick up slivered almonds on the way home for the salad.

Another Note to Self: Do not forget to make the peanut sauce for the chicken tomorrow. Before shabbos since I haven't printed out the recipe.

Is it fudgey or fudgy?

It's fudgy, but the recipe I linked to spelled it "fudgey" and I felt it would be rude to point out the typo. ;)

Hah. I just realized I failed to include the link to the recipe. I'm fixing it now. Then it will all come clear.

Sleep good.

Another reminder to pick up slivered almonds and make the peanut sauce :-)

(Sounds yummy.)

and the noodles! I have to make the noodles!

I got almost four hours of sleep. Not bad for a Thursday night/Friday morning.

I'd not be at all functional on four hours of sleep; I was having a hard time getting up this morning after 8 (the night before staying up too late processing tomatoes).

I'm not functional. Not intellectually anyway. But I'll live. I don't actually feel tired (yet...but I will), but I'm sure that if I had to write a portion of my (nonexistent) dissertation today, it would all end up in the trash.

And yet, you're up and doing things, brain on or off. I don't think I'd be able to do that, even....

Please come down anytime! I'm hoping to make it to New York more next year than I did this year. I usually am up there a few times a year. I wasn't there at all in the past year, I don't think. :(

I want to go to LAND OF GOOD FOOD! In particular, LAND OF DOUGIES AND LAND OF KOSHER INDIAN FOOD!

Awww, shucks, you're too sweet. My shabbos food is usually fun, but always simple. Anyone could do it.

Mmm, peanut sauce...

It turned out I didn't like the peanut sauce for that chicken. Too much soy sauce in it. Yick. I am still on a quest to find the perfect peanut sauce.
