cream cheese
I woke up starving this morning, but I really wanted to be into work by 7:30 (I have to leave early today to pick up the monster). I'm not normally starving in the morning, but today was special, I guess. So when I came to work, I pulled my cream cheese out of the fridge so that I could spread some on some matzoh tea crackers for breakfast.

Except my cream cheese was frozen. That's pretty disgusting. I did not wish to find out what it would be like once it thawed. So I ate mashed sweet potatoes for breakfast. I'm a weirdo.

Mmmmm...Pesach...

Cream cheese is actually ok when it's thawed after freezing. It gets kind of crumbly, but it makes it actually easier to spread.

this was already spreadable cream cheese (temp tee... yum!), and it got sort of watery and weird when it thawed. :(

I love Temp Tee cream cheese. It's a bit of my childhood. We only get it for Pesach, though, along with U-Bet's chocolate syrup.

Yesterday, The Wife was going to give The Boy some cottage cheese. It was frozen. Our fridge is pretty empty now, so this was kind of odd.

I love it too, but same thing, we only buy it for pesach. I don't know why. Somehow, it tastes different on Pesach. Weird, huh? We forgot to buy cottage cheese for Pesach, but fortunately, there's not so much time left in Pesach.

Mashed sweet potatoes sound pretty yummy, though.

Sweet potato sounds like an eminently sensible breakfast to me.
