Hooray!
Julian said a whole sentence this morning! :)

ETA: Okay fine, I'll spill the beans. He said "Hi Gina" I'll admit it's not an entirely impressive sentence, but he said it as soon as Gina walked in the door. Go him! :-D

Nifty! What sentence was it?

I edited the post, but I'll tell you directly. He said "Hi Gina" when his nanny walked in this morning. I can't say it was crystal clear, but Gina and I *both* heard it.

He will. I mean, golly, Julian's almost an entire month older than Asher!

(actually, Julian's getting really good with his words. It's fun.)

love your icon!

I've noticed the two babies before, but I never read the words until now. Beautiful! I have three little boys, k'naina hara, and I believe you are right in spite of the fact that mine pummel each other at least once an hour.

Re: love your icon!

aw thank you :) my boys aren't that old or far apart. they're only 17 mo apart...and the older one (he's 18 mo old) is a WONDERFUL brother and just has the sweetest personality. he's a great help and a lot of fun to be around :) he loves his brother

Re: love your icon!

Mine are also pretty close in age. Oldest is 22 months older than middle, who is 22 months older than youngest. Middle has it hardest, of course. But when I watched my nephews dance for their brother at his wedding, I saw that this fighting stage will pass, IY"H.

Re: love your icon!

Well, of course this is very personal, but I've been on such a vacation quite a while. That's why I have only three.

Re: love your icon!

I AM grateful, but most of my friends have at least 6. It's a lack on my part that I can't handle more. May Hashem help me to be zoche to more.

Re: love your icon!

but you're not your friends! if you can handle 3, good for you! that's 3 more than some people can handle. and i have to say, i know many people with 6 or more kids that CANT handle them. :)

an explosion of words

Oooh! Just you wait! Soon he'll be talking non-stop about everything he sees!
estherchaya From: estherchaya Date: April 20th, 2005 05:16 pm (UTC) (Link)

Re: an explosion of words

He has lots of words to describe things, and even says "done" when he's finished eating and doesn't want anymore. But this is the first whole sentence!

He spent a looooooooong time being stubborn and refusing to say a single word, but he's just now getting into "parrot-mode". Today he said "Hi Gina" unprompted. Usually when we hear her come in I say, "Do you hear that? It's Gina! Let's go say 'Hi Gina!'" This morning we were in the sunroom so he could eat breakfast (no chometz anywhere else right now if I can help it!), so he saw her come in and I said, "Who's that?" and he said "Hi Gina!"

Hooray!
