Sounds like you need to go home sick. Your boss probably wants to you to go home as well (if necessary, work from home). After all, if you make others sick because of your irrational desire to be productive, the overall office will be impacted.

It's just sniffles. Plus, I assure you, my boss is all for me being here making other people sick so long as I'm here.

Oh, and there's also the fact that I have -23.5 hours of leave...

Depending on what you do and whom you interact with, you might just be able to work from home, thus not spreading your germs. (In fact, I often find I'm more productive at home). In other words, if all you are doing is reviewing documents or writing code, you might be able to do that just as well from home. If you are interacting with customers, or working with classified material on restricted systems, you have to be in the office.

Take a look at this article for a better idea of to what I refer.

I wholeheartedly agree that I could work from home. Unfortuantely, I can't. Aside from the fact that I work with sensitive information, it's just not something they like us to do. Monday I'll work from home because my client's off and office space with my company is at a premium, so I'll be able to work from home. But when the client's open, no matter what kind of work I'm doing, I'm expected to work here.
