I don't actually know how many falsehoods are in this list. Heck, I… - Karen's Musings
Random Rambling

I don't actually know how many falsehoods are in this list. Heck, I don't know how many truths are in this list. I'll figure it out later. Also, I have seen variations of this with regards to the number of statements vs. the number of truths, etc. The number of statements have varied from 5-15. I decided that wasn't enough. So here's a bunch.

S/He who guesses all the falsehoods correctly first can, um, be really proud of themselves that they managed to waste so much time figuring out random miscellany about my life.

  1. I have lived in 3 countries.
  2. I have not finished a needle-work project since I was 10 years old, despite having started a dozen such projects.
  3. I once drank 10 shots of tequila in the space of a few hours and woke up with absolutely no hangover whatsoever.
  4. I didn't get my driver's license until I was 23.
  5. I have only one kidney.
  6. I had a stroke when I was 23.
  7. I have four scars on my forehead.
  8. I have a heart defect.
  9. My first job, other than babysitting, was as a freelance musician.
  10. I once successfully sued my school board with the help of the ACLU.
  11. My favorite card game, EVER, is pinochle.
  12. My great grandfather played 3 games for the Boston Red Sox in 1913 before breaking his thumb.
  13. I have a genetic pre-disposition to loving mushrooms.
  14. I have always disliked my first name.
  15. If Moshiach came and told me I didn't have to keep kosher anymore, the first food I would eat would be honey-glazed ham.
  16. When I was a kid, I hated sandwiches, except for two kinds: cream cheese on pepperidge farm cinnamon raisin bread, or liverwurst and cracker barrel cheese on wheat bread.
  17. I have a passion for chia pets.
  18. Coca-Cola is the nectar of the gods. And don't you forget it.
  19. I have met a world famous violinist, a world famous cellist, a world famous orchestra director, several world-famous flutists, a world famous artist, and a well-known ballet dancer.
  20. I am a virgin.
  21. I have completely lost count of how many truths/falsehoods this list contains.
  22. I have made filo dough from scratch.
  23. I haven't spoken to my brother since 1995.
  24. I really should be working right now.
  25. I have lived in 5 states.
  26. Seth refuses to get me a squishy kidney to replace my missing kidney.

I'm going to guess that you're not a virgin. Although if you were, it would explain a lot about Seth. ;)

And, you wouldn't do the ham thing.

wow, you really are an engineer.
In "Obvious Truths" you have at least 2 incorrect guesses.
In "Likely Truths" you have at least 5 incorrect guesses.
In "Obvious Falsehoods" you have at least 1 incorrect guess.
In "Likely Falses" you have at least 1 incorrect guess.

Note, I have purposely said "at least X incorrect guess/es." This does not eliminate the possibility that there are more than X incorrect guesses.

There was so much double talk in that, I'm not even sure what you are saying in some of your guesses.

Well, I know you're married, so unless something is seriously strange about your marriage, #20 is false.

all the odd ones are true; all the even ones are false. RIGHT?!

I'll believe 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 9, 10, 16, 18, 19, 21, 22, 24. Now if you want to pick on me for being wrong, you'll have to really work to figure out which ones I was choosing, har har har!

IF number 14 (dislike first name) happens to be true, which I doubt it is, go to Probate Court and change it already.

Ooo, ooo, you could change it to Juniper! Er, no.

Re: like i'll get any right...

are you identifying the false statements? If so, you got several correct. If not, you got several correct.

Three and a half of the ones you identified as falsehoods are, indeed, falsehoods.

OK, I'll guess these are false:
3, 5, 7, 8, 10, 13, 15, 17, 20 (duh), 22, 23, 26

Ok, I'm just getting to this now and I'm not looking at the other responses.

I think the following are true: 1, 2, 4, 8, 9, 12, 13, 16, 18, 19, 21, 23, 24, 25.

I think the following are false: 3, 5, 6, 7, 10, 11, 14, 15, 17, 20, 22, 26.
