I am so damn sick.

This is NOT bronchitis.
And to the coworker who was mean enough to suggest it, it is NOT allowed to be pneumonia either.

But I can't breath and everything hurts and I think I need to go home.

Current Mood: sick sick

You know, it's a good thing that you'll soon have a young child in your home, because children are known to keep germs away from a household.

Feel better.

Really? I should go into the orphan-renting business during the upcoming flu season!

Does this mean that it would be okay for us to vote?

I think you need to think things through a little better and get your priorities un-muddled. You're clearly proof of what Sen. Kerry said was wrong with the Bush Administration, and, by extension, Republicans/Conservatives and why we need a change!

:)

Frankly, I think the debate last night was the most impressive showing for Bush so far. Of course, from me, that's not saying much. Good mulch could probably do as well or better.

I still think he lost, and I still think that he's a dangerous mono-maniacal moron, who, along with his handlers and/or cronies, has done serious long-term damage to the country on both the domestic and foreign policy fronts, and who needs to be replaced and soon. But having said that, compared to his previous outings, he did much better this time.

But that's just me. Jo thinks he was on drugs.

I actually didn't watch the debate. There was baseball afoot! Or, um, aglove. Given the choice between hearing two guys pretend they have an impact on domestic policy or watching my beloved Yankees beat the Red Sox yet again, it was an easy call.

So who's the one with the wrong priorities now? And where can I buy some orphans?

Seeing that I've spent half the day playing on LJ when I have an SF86 to fill out, I'm probably not the best one to judge priorities. :)

As far as orphans go, I keep hearing about all these kids named Amber who have lost their parents. I bet you could get some of them. Real cheap too! (OK, sick joke. I apologize to the offended.)

When children go missing on high ozone days under terrorist threat, does the government issue an Amber Orange Ochre Alert?

When I started doing child-care work, I actually got sick more often because ... well, because interacting closely with small creatures who genuinely don't mind if they have inch-thick, sedimentary-type coatings of phlegm on their faces increases the frequency of hand-to-germ contact. After a few months I got past it & developed resistance to many types of rhinovirus and related bugs. But I did spend a while wondering when *my* nose was going to quit running.

Maybe a doctor's visit is in order?

Feel better!

Sorry, but all this poking and prodding with dental equipment seems to have impaired my sense of humor. (Or maybe I just need a nap.)

S'okay. I called them. They don't have any appointments tomorrow, but if I call at 8:30 they'll fit me in.
