post-fast
Fast is over. Now I'm baking quiches.

Going to Nechama's at 10am to finish stuffed cabbage. Cooking the rest of the day. Possibly even helping Seth put together the succah. Not possibly. Probably. I don't think he can do it himself.

Right.

I slept all day and somehow I'm STILL tired.

Oh, and I think I'm getting another kidney stone. I'm really pissed off about this. I could find humour in 9, but 10 is too many, darnit.

Current Mood: pissed off pissed off

Ugh, another kidney stone? I hope not ... and I hope whatever it is wraps up soon.

I pray it is not another kidney stone. I hope it isn't. I am acting as sukkah assitant today, too! Then I will be at my office the rest of the day cleaning up. Good thing you rescheduled pampered chef.

I've been having pain on and off in the vicinity of my right kidney for months now. It comes and goes with no noticeable pattern. Isn't related to when or what I eat. Might possibly be related to when I'm not getting enough water, but I don't have enough data yet to really know. But it's there for a few minutes, gone for a few hours and so on. Friday night it was constant all the way through mid-morning Saturday. Now it's gone. Who knows. Probably I should call my doctor and ask her to order an x-ray series, but right now, it's not bad enough consistently enough for me to want to deal with it.

We are just about done putting up the sukkah--how is yours coming along?

Oh you're funny. Ours is still, predictably, in pieces.

We had to go buy new pre treated lattice wood for the top of our sukkah (we have a canvas sukkah with metal poles and in order for it to be kosher the schach cannot be touching the metal so the solution is to put down wood, first). So Joel is installing that now. He won't put the roof on until erev sukkos, as is our custom. We stopped in College Park to eat at Pita Place--nice service but kind of expensive, but the food was good-Joel had schwarma and I had chicken kabob.

kidney stone

Ouch, I hope not.

If it is, maybe now that they've made a minyan they'll stop coming?
